Vaginal dryness- we said it... it happens to everyone. It may come and go, and it may stay, but you should be using a lubricant to avoid further issues. 

There are several causes for vaginal dryness-

• hormonal changes caused by: 
  • menstrual cycle
  • hormonal contraceptives

  • medications
  • autoimmune 
• inflammation caused by:
  • autoimmune

  • perfumes, soaps (high pH = unhappy microbiome)
• aging (it happens to the best of us)
• dehydration (duh)
• vaginal microbiome disruption (the good bacteria!)

We chose to keep the formulation simple so as to not disrupt vaginal health- no fragrance, oils, or anything that has been shown in research to disrupt vaginal microflora. 

Here's what's in it and why:

Water: it's a vehicle for the other goodies in the formulation

Glycerin: naturally occurring humectant to add hydration

Aloe Vera: soothing and has been shown to reverse vaginal atrophy

Calendula Extract: soothing and has been shown to reduce unhealthy vaginal yeast

Chamomile Extract: soothing and has been shown to improve sexual function 

Hyaluronic Acid: naturally occurring humectant to add hydration and has been proven an effective alternative to hormonal creams for vaginal dryness

Lactic Acid: (a tiny amount) to promote a healthy vaginal pH (3.8-4.5) and to support the presence of lactobacilli, the "good bacteria". It has also been shown to reduce the occurrence of common conditions such as bacterial vaginosis (BV).

ALWAYS USE WITH CLEAN HANDS.

Dispense 3-6 pumps onto fingertips or directly onto nether regions, gently massage to get things going. Gently wash with warm water afterwards if possible, not required.
